Right Psoas Mass Biopsy - Narayana Imaging & Diagnostics

Introduction
Difficult patient.
HIV and HCV +ve ; with CD4+ count 140. Platelet count : 37000
SDP concentrate given before and after the procedure.
Vit K was also given prior to the procedure.
Procedure details:
CT-guided right iliopsoas mass biopsy in supine position under local anesthesia.
Introducer needle used: 3.9 cm 17G ; Biopsy gun 18 G semi-automated with 2 cm throws.
No complications or excessive bleeding seen.
Injection Pause and SDP concentrate given post-procedure.
The patient was monitored for any local swelling and Hb levels.
