65 Y/ Female patient with multiple sclerotic lesions seen in the axial skeleton; Diagnosed as Metastases of unknown primary.
CT-guided biopsy of the sacral bone was done from the left side in a prone position under local anesthesia.
Needle used: 11G bone biopsy gun.
No complications post procedure. No bleeding at the site.
The patient tolerated the procedure well.
HPE report: Adenocarcinoma of the lung.
Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist.
